No one, right? Let me tell you why.

It's how it's taught. History isn't just about memorizing dates. It's not just about signing treaties, making war, when famous people died. Students are taught history in a way that makes it seem dull and grey. History is really the thrilling adventures of ordinary people who lived and MADE A DIFFERENCE. How their weaknesses and daring exploits led us to where we are now. We're delving deeper to discover their emotions, their motivations - the REAL story.

Imagine history coming alive. Imagine dining with Cleopatra or Thomas Edison asking for your opinion on his latest invention. Imagine Bad Prince John shaking his fist over the whole 'Magna Carta' thing. What if all this could happen...and all you need is a smartphone or tablet?

Our founder, Katie Nyarko, first thought of histo.ry in December 2016. In January 2017, she teamed up with Caitlin G. (from Syper Education) and Jessica G. to create a prototype of the app in Blippar. We expect the app to be on the App Store in September 2018.
